The spirit of unity echoed through West Hills Mall when legendary Highlife musician Amandzeba Nat Brew joined forces with Ohemaa Doris to perform his timeless classic “Biakoye” at the Nsoromma Season 8 grand finale.

Originally released in 2000 as part of Amandzeba’s celebrated Demara album, “Biakoye”, which translates as “Unity” in Akan, remains one of Ghana’s most treasured Highlife songs.

More than two decades after its release, the song lost none of its relevance.

With Amandzeba’s distinctive voice leading the performance and Ohemaa Doris adding youthful brilliance and vocal depth, the duo transformed the stage into a celebration of Ghanaian music.

Their chemistry was effortless, and as the familiar lyrics filled the auditorium, many patrons sang along, turning the performance into a heartfelt singalong.

The performance stood out as one of the night’s most emotional moments, proving that while musical trends may evolve, songs with timeless messages continue to inspire and connect audiences.
