President John Mahama is alleging the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is preparing the grounds to dispute the December 7 polls.

Among the strategies the opposition party is using he claimed, includes lying to the International Community to win their favour should the elections not go their way.

President Mahama reveals this while addressing party supporters at the Accra Sports Stadium Monday.

“There are forces that are intentionally saying things that have not happened as justification to dispute the polls” he stated.

But President Mahama assured Ghanaians of peace since according to him, he has provided the best leadership requires by Ghanaians for the past three and a half years.

He said under his watch as president, the nation has enjoyed stability and peace despite threats pose by certain forces.

“Ghana has been in safe hands under my watch as president,” he said, adding the outcome of Wednesday’s polls will determine whether the nation will move forward or backward.

This, President Mahama believes is the difference between him and his fierce contender, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo.

However, he said the destiny of the country is in the hands of Ghanaians and the decision they take on December 7 will determine the direction of their future.

President Mahama who spoke in Hausa, Twi, Ewe, Ga and English, told NDC supporters that, although victory is already theirs, they should not be complacent.
