The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe has commissioned NHIA office at Kukuom in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region to strengthen services for the people.
Dr. Bampoe in his address said the provision of the fully furnished office is to guarantee residents a better access, improved services, greater dignity and a close connection between the NHIA and the people of the Asunafo South District.

According to him, for a district with over 90,000 population clearly tells that the services of the NHIA is significant therefore the staff must prioritize the interest of the people to guarantee them quality healthcare services from NHIA accredited service providers.

Meanwhile, the Ahafo Regional Minister, Charity Gardiner on her part thanked President John Dramani Mahama for deepen efforts to improve healthcare services for the people of Ahafo Region.
She appealed to the people of the district to take proper care of the facility to help serve the intend purpose.
However, the NHIA Director for Ahafo Region, George Mawuli assured the CEO of taking proper care of the facility to significantly improve services.
He entreated the CEO to keep supporting the office of NHIA in the region.
