The First Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Region and Regional Chairmanship hopeful, Joseph Baradoe, has pledged to pay the filing fees of all incumbent constituency executives who intend to seek re-election.

According to Mr Baradoe, the gesture is in recognition of the commitment and contribution of the executives to the party’s success in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking to Adom News in Goaso, he said the 168 incumbent executives across the six constituencies in the Ahafo Region played a critical role in helping the NDC secure what he described as an unprecedented electoral victory in the region.

He explained that sponsoring their filing fees was his way of appreciating their dedication while encouraging them to maintain their commitment and work even harder towards the 2028 general elections.

The constituencies to benefit from the gesture are Tano North, Tano South, Asutifi North, Asutifi South, Asunafo North and Asunafo South.

Mr Baradoe urged party members to remain committed and dedicated to the NDC, stressing that hard work and loyalty to the party would eventually be recognised and rewarded.

He said his support for the 168 executives was also intended to motivate them to continue strengthening the party’s structures at the grassroots ahead of the 2028 elections.
