The Commissioner of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB Ghana), John Wumboriti, has joined his kinsmen to celebrate the 4th annual Binanbomb Homecoming at Tatindo in the Tatale-Sanguli District of the Northern Region.

The celebration brought together natives and friends of the Binanbomb community to promote unity, preserve their cultural heritage and discuss opportunities for development.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Wumboriti urged the youth, particularly Konkomba and Kikpankpan youth, to reject galamsey, Q-Net scams and other activities that could jeopardise their future.

“Our youth must stay away from galamsey, Q-Net scams and other activities that can destroy their future. We must focus on education and skills training because that is the surest way to build a better future.”

He encouraged young people to acquire education and practical skills to enable them to secure sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.

As part of the celebration, Mr. Wumboriti presented GH¢10,000 to the community on behalf of the Minister of Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, and also offered additional support to the community.

He expressed optimism that the 5th anniversary would be bigger and more enjoyable, with increased participation from natives and friends of the community.
