Content creator and social commentator Ebo Noah has reacted to the devastating floods that have hit parts of Ghana, insisting that earlier warnings he issued about the situation were dismissed.
He claims he had forewarned of heavy rains and flooding but was not taken seriously at the time.
“I said it would rain and flood. God instructed me to tell Ghanaians, but I was arrested. Today, look at what is happening. Look at the properties being destroyed. Look at the lives that have been lost. It is very sad,” he said.
Ebo Noah argued that divine messages should not be dismissed based on the status or profession of the messenger, stressing that “God can use anybody” to pass on warnings.
“People want to hear it from their pastors or prophets before they believe. God can use anybody. I was only a medium. I saw it, I said it, and I was disregarded,” he added.
He described the floods as a stark warning to the country, as he urged the public to take environmental and disaster alerts more seriously.
Ebo Noah further issued a caution that the current situation may not be the end since more incidents could unfold in the coming weeks if vigilance is not heightened.
“No more talking. The rain will speak for us. In the coming weeks, a lot is going to happen, so everyone should be on the lookout,” he warned.
Nonetheless, he claims to be interceding on behalf of the country.
His comments come after days of heavy rainfall triggered widespread flooding in parts of Accra and other communities. Families have been displaced, businesses and public infrastructure destroyed while some basic schools closed down.
Emergency response teams continue to assess the damage as affected communities begin recovery efforts.
His remarks have generated mixed reactions online, with some users expressing support while others question the basis of his claims.
