The Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has attributed party delegates’ vote for him as a reward for his loyalty and hard work for the party.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo who defeated fellow party stalwarts, Dan Abodakpi, Betty Mould Iddrisu among others for the chairmanship race stated he knew his good works were going to speak for him so at no point in time did he doubt his victory.

“I have continuously served the party for 26 years so I believe the delegates thought it wise to reward and honour my good work. They appreciated my loyalty towards the growth of the party and I believe that made the magic,” he noted.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo made the point while speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Tuesday.
