Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekehinde used to be the face of the Nigerian film industry in years past and even though she’s still a celebrated actress in the industry, one can count the number of movies the alluring mother of four has appeared in recent times.
Omotola, just like her colleague, Jim Iyke, has revealed that the reason for her absence on the movie scene is the inability of directors to pay her worth.
“Most can’t afford me, some can’t afford what it takes to have me on set. It is a new terrain, all will balance out soon,” she said, during a question and answer session with her fans.

“My husband added ‘Omosexy’ to my name. I didn’t mind what people would perceive of me because of the name. People will always fall in line with what you present ultimately,” she noted.
Married to Captain Matthew Ekehinde, Omotola briefly returned to the big screens with an electrifying performance in the 2017 blockbuster, ‘Alter Ego’.
