Embattled Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not worried about the barrage of attacks on him by party members.

Bernard Allotey Jacobs said he has developed a thick skin for the vitriolic attacks from within for stating the gospel truth.
The former Chairman has been taken to the cleaners for suggesting the NDC needs someone whose pedigree is equal or above Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
He said the party is suffering because the ‘economic wizkid’ has digitalised the political communication and Ghanaians can now separate “propaganda from facts.”
These observations by Mr Jacobs did not go down well with some party members mostly on social media.
Majority of them, peeved by his assertions, are rooting for him [Allotey] to be ostracised from the party.
In response, Mr Jacobs said his faith in God has been strengthened in these trying times.
“Jesus Christ is my best friend and my covering cherub,” he stated while reacting to the issue on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Wednesday.
The distraught former Chairman expressed shock at the conduct of his party when he only sought to give advice.
Mr Jacobs said he has learnt his lessons in a bitter way but it will not deter him from speaking the truth.
