Former WBO Africa Cruiserweight champion, Braimah Kamoko, known commonly as Bukom Banku has revealed he has four more years to bring an end to his boxing career.

The local champion made this revelation on Starr Chat on Wednesday after his Saturday’s seventh round technical knockout to Bastie Samir at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

According to Banku after rematches with Samir come next year he will try to fight some international bout to end the pugilist journey in 2021.

“I have not retired yet. I have four more years to retire. I have decided to ignore the insults from people because I don’t want those negative comments to affect me,” Banku said.

The 38-year old has refused to kowtow to public outcry of his retirement for denting his unbeaten record.

Meanwhile, Banku has confirmed receiving GHC 50,000 as part payment of the bout purse and he is anxiously waiting for a rematch with Samir on December 6.
