Gospel musician, Gifty Adorye, popularly known as Empress Gifty, has debunked rumours that her past relationship couldn’t survive because of infidelity.
There has been many reasons circulating in the public domain why Gifty got divorced with some claiming she cheated on her ex-husband with another man in America.

But, putting all the rumours to bed on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz entertainment show on Monday, Empress Gifty, who is now married to New Patriotic Party’s Hopeson Adorye, tagged all the rumours as lies fabricated to dent her brand.
She explained that, there are many factors that can lead marriages to hit the rocks, hence she cannot fathom why some Ghanaians are focusing solely on alleged infidelity.
“I never left, I was rather divorced. I don’t have to explain to anyone why my former marriage ended because marriage doesn’t end only because of infidelity. Some people divorce due to lack of attention,” she said.
“I have never lived with any pastor and his wife ever in the US. Whenever I travel there I have only one address I go to since 2014,” she explained.
