Three former winners of the Miss Ghana pageant have painted the glummest picture of the beauty event till date, alleging that they were pimped by the organisers.
According to the three – Stephanie Karikari (Miss Ghana 2010), Antoinette Delali Kemavor (Miss Ghana 2015) and Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi (Miss Ghana 2013) – the pageant is not as glamourous as it may seem.
In a shocking tale of what transpires behind scenes, the three former queens, narrated to Ghanacelebrities.com, how Inna Mariam Patty, organiser of the pageant, exploited, verbally and sometimes physically abused them.
The former beauty queens also alleged that they were sometimes pimped to raise money to support the pageant run by Inna Patty and Exclusive Event Ghana.
Meanwhile, Myjoyline.com sources say organisers of the pageant called an emergency meeting as late as 10pm Sunday after the story broke.
Details of the meeting were not made available but the source said an official release will be issued before close of business Monday.
