Traditional leaders from Senchi in the Eastern region have descended heavily on Senchi queen mother, Nana Poakwaa II for allegedly being behind recent attacks at Senchi palace.
Heavily built men with some in military uniform stormed the palace to cause mayhem.
Luck however eluded some of them as those arrested and identified were part of a group of macho men who caused mayhem at the palace two years ago.
At a press conference, Senchi Adontenhene, Nana Oduro Gyan Dapaa tells Adom News that the queen who does not reside in the area is making Senchi unsafe.
“The queen mother is using her position to intimidate people in the area and making the place unsafe for us. She easily takes decisions without the consent of opinion leaders and it’s affecting activities here in the area” he said.
Meanwhile, Senchi Adontenhene, Nana Oduro Gyan Dapaa says there is a bench warrant from Senchi court to get the queen mother, Nana Poakwaa II.
