A middle aged man identified as Agya Joseph, is currently fighting for his life at Cape Coast Regional hospital after he was allegedly butchered by his ex-wife Obaa Hannah at Assin Tweanka in the Assin North municipality.
An eye witness who spoke to Adom News’ Alfred Amoh, said the couple have separated after his wife packed out of the house.
Not happy with her decision, Agya Joseph decided to spy on his wife anytime she takes her shower.
According to reports, Obaa Hannah who was incensed about her estranged husband’s behaviour decided to teach him a lesson.
On Wednesday August 23,2017, the victim who had ignored several warning to quit went peeping again but this time luck eluded him.
“The angry woman inflicted cutlass wounds on Agya Joseph’s head and other parts of his body for spying on her in the bathroom” he added.
The victim, the eyewitness noted immediately lost consciousness and was rushed to the St Francis Hospital in Assin Fosu.
But due to the nature of the wounds, he was referred to the Cape Coast Regional hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, the matter has been reported to the Assin Tweanka police who have begun investigations.
