GNFS responds to vehicular fire at Teshie

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has responded to a vehicular fire at Teshie Bush Road, Telephone Road, in the Greater Accra Region.

The incident occurred on August 12, 2026, with the Trade Fair Fire Station receiving an alert through the Fire Master Control at about 3:35 a.m.

A firefighting crew was dispatched a minute later and arrived at the scene to begin operations.

Upon arrival, the firefighters found a 2016 BMW fully engulfed in flames.

The crew brought the fire under control at 4:13 a.m. and completely extinguished it at 4:37 a.m.

The fire destroyed the vehicle’s dashboard, seats, rear tyres and boot. However, the engine compartment and front tyres were salvaged by the firefighters.

No casualties were recorded in the incident.
