Outspoken football administrator and owner of King Faisal Football club, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah has bemoaned the state of Ghana football, describing it as unlucrative.
The King Faisal owner says not even the two most glamorous clubs, Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts can break even anymore.

Alhaji Grusah recounted how he got into Ghana football, saying it started as a hobby before later developing into business but he has come to realise, over the years, that it is best not to see football in Ghana as a business venture because it is just a waste of resources.
“Football is a hobby which I turned into business but it has not been profitable over the years. Ghana football is dead and we all need to see it as a hobby and not business like people are making it seem now”, Alhaji lamented.

Airing his views on Asempa FM, Alhaji Grusah bashed the football governing body in the country for not heeding to the advice of former heads of states who called on them to revive juvenile football.
