Lawyers of Deputy Communication Minister, George Andah, Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankoma, have written to journalist, Michael Dokosi, to issue an apology over some publications they deem to be defamatory of their client.
The letter which is in the possession of adomonline.com says on the 27th of October, 2017, the Daily Post Newspaper of which Michael is the editor, published an article under the headline, “George Andah causes financial loss to the state”.
“After this defamatory headline, you published other defamatory words on the front page and page 6 of that edition of the newspaper”, the letter read.
After quoting sections of the “defamatory words”, the lawyers say the paper’s claims are untrue and grossly defamatory to their client and have caused serious harm to his reputation.
They are therefore, among other things demanding an apology and retraction from the editor and publisher of the Daily Post newspaper within three days of receiving the letter.
