Fire razes five-bedroom house in Buduburam

-

A five-bedroom house in Big Apple, a suburb of Gomoa Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, has been completely destroyed by fire.

The incident occurred around 4:00 pm on Monday, leaving the entire building reduced to ashes. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, though the cause of the fire remains unknown.

According to Emmanuel Dogbe, the Assembly Member for the Gomoa Buduburam Electoral Area, the blaze caught the landlord and occupants off-guard, spreading rapidly through the house before any personal belongings could be salvaged.

Dogbe commended personnel from the Buduburam National Fire Service for their swift intervention, noting that their prompt response prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes.

Fire officers have since begun investigations to determine the source of the inferno, while affected residents count their losses and appeal for support.
