A primary school teacher of Somanya No. 2 primary school in the Eastern region is alleged to have sodomized some students of the school.

Mr. Amanor Francis Bawa, a French teacher allegedly lures his victims to his house to have anal sex with them.

According to reports, his victims are mostly brilliant-but-needy students or orphans.
But what has made the issue murkier is the alleged cover up by the headmaster of the school, Rev. Felix Nakotey and leadership of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Somanya.
On Adom FM’s anti-corruption segment, Fabewoso, show host Captain Smart revealed that even though the teacher confessed to having unnatural canal knowledge with the boys in the school, he is still at post.

He said Mr. Bawa when quizzed by the leadership of the church, blamed the devil for his conduct and pleaded for clemency.
Captain Smart revealed that, recommendation by the Circuit Supervisor of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the area for the suspect to be transferred has still not been complied with by authorities.

He noted that, even though some of the victims, majority of whom are old students, confirmed the incident, the District Director of Education in the area has turned a deaf ear to it.
Captain Smart also claimed the headmaster; Rev. Felix Nakotey has warned the victims not to speak to anyone on the issue.
