Gospel musician Jack Alolome has spoken for the first time since he got involved in an accident on the Accra-Kumasi highway that caused him severe injuries.
In an interview on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness on Tuesday, the Adom Nsuo musician narrated how the accident occurred.

Mr Alolome, detailing how he ended up climbing a pavement with his Mazda 6 car and somersaulting, said it all happened when a Toyota Corolla taxi driver who was ahead of him made a quick U-turn.
He explained that it was in his attempt to prevent his car from smashing the said Corolla that he drifted off the road into a nearby bush.
According to him, it took the special grace of God and the fact that he was in his seatbelt to prevent a fatality.
To make matters worse for him, the musician said while he laid in the car in the bush semi-conscious, the taxi driver who got him into the unfortunate situation had abandoned him, leaving him to find his way out of the vehicle for the hospital, all by himself.
“I was driving late in the night and the next thing I realised was a taxi driver who took a quick U-turn in front of me. I tried not to smash his car but eventually climbed a nearby pavement, resulting in my car somersaulting multiple times.

“The taxi driver didn’t stop to check on me but I managed to find my way to the hospital and the doctors did well to save my life,” he narrated.
Jack Alolome said the accident, rather than the accident putting fear in him, it has rather uplifted his spirit.
