Angry customers of F.K.A Company Limited have staged a protest against the company’s Managing Director, Frederick Kofi Asare, accusing him of failing to allocate land to them nearly 19 years after full payment.
The customers claim they purchased land at Danchira in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region in 2007. They allege that despite completing payment, the land has since been developed by other individuals.
Tensions escalated on May 6, 2026, when police officers and a private developer moved into Domeabra and Danchira to demolish structures on the disputed land, reportedly following a Supreme Court ruling.
During the operation, a 19-year-old Senior High School student was allegedly shot in the stomach by police officers and was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre for treatment.
The Domeabra Stool and Danchira elders have described the exercise as unlawful, insisting that the matter is still before the courts, with a hearing scheduled for June 2026.
At a press conference, the aggrieved customers demanded that the company return their land and called on the President, the Chief Justice, and security agencies to intervene and protect their investments.
Meanwhile, the Director of F.K.A Company Limited, Frederick Kofi Asare, maintains that the company has secured court judgments confirming its ownership of the land and is only enforcing the rulings.
He further warned that the group would petition the President and the Inspector General of Police to address the issue, adding that they would stage a protest at the Jubilee House if their concerns are not resolved.
