Miss Ghana 2017 winner, Miss Margaret Derry has advised ladies to stay away from the pageant brand.

According to her, there is no lucrative or essential element that comes from the show even when you have been crowned the winner.

Being a miss Ghana queen has honestly been one of the worse experiences of my life, yeah, I know it looks good on the outside but it’s just one big sham on the inside…“, she said.

It would be recalled that some past Beauty Queens have made similar revelations and hectic conditions they were subjected to with the aim of keeping up in the pageant show and it’s evident there are issues with the pageant.

She has, therefore, advised ladies not to go for such pageants because according to her, “All that glitters is not gold. Ladies, you don’t need a crown on your head to succeed...”, she said in her tweet.
