The four government appointees, who were involved in a road accident en route to the Upper West region to support the President launch a programme, are responding to treatment.
Spokesperson for the Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr Ken Osei Mensah confirmed this on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Tuesday.
The accident occurred Monday dawn in the Zanzugu Yipala village on the Tamale-Kintampo motorway, the Northern regional police confirmed.

It involved Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) from the Northern region – Zabzugu DCE Ahmed Abubakari Iddrisu, Gushiegu DCE, Musah Issah, Mion DCE, Mohammed Hashim Abdullah, and the Bimbilla MCE, Abdulai Yakubu.
Dr Mensah said doctors were very proactive when the victims were brought in to ensure there was no casualty.

He stated that, given the comprehensive treatment given them, there is no need to airlift them to the 37 Military Hospital.
Dr Mensah said all victims are responding to treatment and could be discharged in the shortest possible time.
