A Nigerian Naval officer, who tested positive for Covid-19, has allegedly escaped quarantine in Oghara, Delta state to smoke weed.
A post sighted on Instagram revealed the suspect, who was brought in on May 1, 2020, and was at the centre till Saturday, May 10, escaped after threatening health workers with a jackknife.

He is said to have requested to smoke marijuana after he was brought to the centre last week but he was denied permission to smoke.
Sources indicate the officer appeared like a drug addict, adding that he looked like one suffering from drug withdrawal syndrome.
