First Baptist Church in Agbede, Nigeria has warned its choristers to desist from a dance style the church described as ungodly or face its disciplinary committee.
A statement signed by the Music Director, Mrs Patunola, the Choir Secretary, Sister Iyanu Ayangbola and the Chairman of the Choir’s Disciplinary Committee, Olaiya Fasuhan, said;

“The Disciplinary Committee of the above named church hereby writes to give you a warning regarding your dance style during church service.
“The dance style doesn’t glorify God during worship service and as such, there will be a close watch on you to see if you change before you would be asked to face the disciplinary committee if you do not stop,” it cautioned.
