The youth of Bole in the Savannah Region are calling for their District Chief Executive (DCE), Veronica Alele, to be sacked for abandoning them in the wake of the chieftaincy disputes that erupted in Bole.

Madam Alele left Bole since the conflict broke and has since not returned to the town, making the youth believe she is not brave enough to be considered a leader.

The youth, in an interview with Adom News, has described the action of the DCE as one that shows she couldn’t be with them or watch over them as head of the District Security Council.

“She is running because she has taken a wrong side in the issue and now that she is not in the town, where is she running to? We will now consider ourselves without a DCE and manage our own affairs,” they stated.
