Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known in the showbiz circles as Shatta Wale, has told fellow musician EL to believe in himself.
Shatta Wale says he believes EL is highly talented hence he cannot fathom why he would allow critics get to him that he is not a rapper.
The “Pray for Me’ hitmaker stressed that, ‘if God does something for us lets appreciate it; EL is a good rapper and he should still believe he is the best rapper and shouldn’t let anyone bring him down”, he advised.

According to Shatta Wale, if critics insist that he doesn’t deserve to be mentioned as a dancehall musician, he only responds by saying “…if I do kpalongo, do your RnB I don’t mind. My songs will give me shows in London.”
I expect rapper EL to learn from this [his example] and deliver songs that “the people want and not songs that will have to impress friends or international counterparts…” he said on Zylofon FM.

Wale also mentioned that the most important part of being in the music industry is to ‘look for money and feed your family…’ hence EL should focus on that and forget the negative critics.
