It has emerged that, everything Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said in his lecture had the blessing of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku has said.
His comment is in reaction to claims that the Vice President is trying to decouple himself from the Akufo-Addo government.
But, Sammi Awuku in an interview on Adom TV’s morning show, Badwam Thursday, said Dr. Bawumia discussed his vision with his boss and Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
He also revealed that, the Vice President wrote every word of the speech by himself.
“Bawumia shared his vision with his boss [Akufo-Addo] and they discussed it with the key team. The Finance Minister was also aware of his proposed new solutions. No one wrote Bawumia’s speech, the man wrote every line of his speech by himself. He has been on the speech for the last three months and consults people’s ideas and relevant people. So this is the basis of his own vision for the country,” he said.
