A 30-year-old woman, Patience Pomaa, who was set ablaze at Senase near Berekum in the Brong Ahafo region by her sister-in-law Charity, Konama over custody of her son, has died.

Pomaa’s late brother had a child with Konama and the two were engaged in a misunderstanding over custody of the one-and-half-year-old child.

Konama accosted Pomaa and poured petrol and set her ablaze on Monday October 29, 2018 at about 7:30 am.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem programme Monday, a relative of deceased, Nana Gyamfi said they were ready to solve the case amicably with Charity after the death of their brother but it was unfortunate things turned out this way.

Nana Adu added that,  the suspect is in the police custody pending investigations.
