A 30-year-old pregnant midwife, who also works at the Atebubu district government hospital in the Brong Ahafo region has been found dead.
According to reports, he death was a result of labour complications.
A Roman father narrating the incident to Adom News said the deceased, Dorcas Bugai was found dead in her room at Atebubu Amanteng by a colleague nurse after five days.
He said the fear-stricken nurse raised an alarm and called for help and the residents rushed to the house.
The Roman father indicated that, the deceased was seen lying on the floor with her baby protruding from her private part.
“I’m sure she was trying to deliver the baby on her own but suffered some complications” he added.
He said the police was quickly informed and they came for the decomposing body of the nurse pending investigations.
 
Meanwhile, the body has since been deposited in the mortuary and is expected to be buried soon.

I heard your demise from our friend Erick who gave me your last name to search for you on Facebook barely a month ago but I couldn’t find you and get to talk to you before your departure. It has been over 6 years now since we last met ..RIP.

  2. How could a whole hospital management forget to check up on a staff member who hasn’t report to work for days? That’s purely negligence . The whole hospital as an organization has some questions to answer.
