Kwame Baffoe

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been accused of doctoring the new educational curriculum for kindergarten and primary schools.

The motive, according to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono region chairman, Kwame Baffoe is to make the Akufo-Addo government unpopular.

He made the allegation while reacting to the raging debate on the introduction of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) policy in basic school’s curriculum.

The alleged content of the new curriculum for kindergarten circulating on social media has images of sex organs in them.

The move, according to critics, is part of a grand agenda by the government to promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) agenda.

But, Mr Baffoe on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem, Tuesday said the NDC is behind such explicit images circulating on social media.

He noted that, some elements in the opposition party put such images in the curriculum to create the impression that the government is conditioning pupils to explore LGBT lifestyles.

Abronye, as he is popularly called, said the curriculum approved did not include anything on Comprehensive Sexuality Education.

He wondered why the over 150,000 teachers trained on the new curriculum did not raise questions if indeed it included such explicit images.

“The NDC will play politics with anything just to score cheap political points but we will expose that wicked propaganda,” the outspoken NPP Bono Chairman opined.

Abronye DC assured the NPP government will not accept and promote anything that is against Ghanaian values.
