As calls on political parties to disband all vigilante groups intensify, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to roll out more.
Former Member of Parliament for Tano South in the Brong Ahafo region, Hannah Louisa Bissiw has revealed plans are far advanced to form more of such groups.

Her comment follows an endorsement of the NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia of NDC Hawks and Lions within the party.
General Mosquito as he is popularly called opined that, the emergence of groups like Hawks is “an appropriate natural response” to the failure of the Akufo-Addo government to rein in its party vigilante groups.
In support, Hannah Bissiw on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme on Tuesday said, she is very elated her party has finally seen the light.

She said the intimidation and political vendetta will be history as the NDC prepares to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The aspiring National Women’s Organizer said she endorses the activities of groups like Hawks, Lions and Eagles across the country.
Hannah Bissiw promised to sponsor the formation of NDC vigilante groups like ‘Eagles and Pythons’ to police NDC officials.
“Civil society groups should shut up becuase I fully endorse them. NDC eagles, dragons and pythons will soon come” she added.
