The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samuel Pyne has asked former President John Mahama to go to his hotel in Dubai if Christmas in Ghana is dry.

Former President Mahama while addressing supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Trade Fair Centre after submitting his nomination forms bemoaned the economic hardship in the country.

He said “most Ghanaian families will go through the driest Christmas they have ever experienced in the history of Ghana [due to the] excruciating economic difficulties”

But Mr. Pyne reacting to Former President’s comment on Adom FM’s Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Thursday said “If John Mahama says this Christmas is dry, then he should go to Dubai. If he goes to Dubai today, please go with him” he told communications director of the NDC, Solomon Nkansah who was also a panel on the same show.
