Ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas had the Mahama government under his control, Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has alleged.
According to him, during NDC’s tenure, Anas used his position to blackmail some former appointees under the Mahama administration and also exploited huge monies from Mr. Mahama.

He said, he feels sorry for Mr. Mahama because he fell prey to corrupt practices of Anas adding that, he tried to extort money from President Nana Akufo-Addo which was why he showed portions of his Number 12 documentary to him.
“This small boy called Anas had NDC’s balls like this. He blackmailed all of these NDC appointees and then anytime he goes to Mahama, then he gives him vehicles to send to galamsey site and extort money from these Chinese galamseyers” he said.

The outspoken MP who believes Anas has influence vowed to expose the investigative journalist for what he describes as causing the death of some Ghanaians in the country with his acts.
