National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for Odododiodio, has urged government not to leave no stone unturned as far as the Menzgold issue is concerned.

Mr. Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye referred to a similar circumstance in 2015 after several clients of microfinance companies lost their investments estimated in the millions.

According to him, Menzgold saga can have implications on the economy if not handled well thus urged government to deal with the issue as in the case of DKM and other microfinance operations.

“Government should take stand on this issue and pursue it aggressively. Unlike DKM where most of the properties were seized, this menzgold issue is not like that and so they should be aggressive and deal with it once and for all” he said on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” Thursday.

Mr. Nii Lante Vanderpuye’s comment follows a circuit court warrant for the arrest of Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah.
