Twenty-eight (28) workers of Plate and Plume Limited, an Indian company at Bogoso in the Western Region, are being interrogated by the Police in relation to the shooting of Lance Corporal Duku Nicholas who was shot and killed while on official duty.
The deceased who was with the Tarkwa Divisional Police Command was providing escort services to an Indian Businessman, Rajinder Singh at Bogoso when suspected robbers accosted them and shot him dead.

The incident is the latest in a wave of attacks recorded in one week in some parts of the country.
Last week, two people were killed in four separate robbery attacks at Weija alone.

The Western Regional Police PRO, DSP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku who confirmed the development to Adom News said the workers have been arrested to aid with investigations.
Meanwhile, Indian Businessman, CEO of Plate and Plume Ltd who was still in shock after the incident fears for his own safety after witnessing the death of the Police Officer Duku from close range.
