Management of Ghanaian premier league side, AshantiGold has sacked manager, Charles Akunnor days after he was reportedly suspended.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer was earlier asked to step aside after refusing to supervise the team’s training session.

This the 2017/2018 Zylofon Cash Premier League contenders said it was a neglect of duty after the 44-year-old manager was seen working  as a pundit on television around the same period.

Deputy coach, Yakubu Mambo has been tasked to take charge of the team till further notice according to the hierarchy of the club.
