The Kingsley Health Cares Programme, an initiative led by Dr Kingsley Agyemang, is set to be launched in the Abuakwa South Municipality to improve access to healthcare for pregnant women.
The proponents of the programme recently engaged the Abuakwa South Municipal Health Directorate as part of preparations for the official launch of the initiative.
The meeting brought together the Municipal Health Director, Richard Essien; Constituency Women’s Organizer, Comfort Serwaa Oti; Constituency Organizer, Samuel Appiah; and other constituency executives.
Discussions during the engagement focused on the objectives of the programme and how it could support healthcare delivery for pregnant women across the municipality.
Following the deliberations, Apedwa was selected as the venue for the launch of the Kingsley Health Cares Programme.
The initiative is expected to provide additional support aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes for pregnant women in the Abuakwa South Municipality.
