Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has dared the Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA), Mr Kwame Owusu, to take him to court if he feels defamed by his comments.

A Plus had revealed that the CEO and some seven members of management of the Authority spent GH¢10,652 a night on food.

The musician made these conflict-of-interest revelations in a Facebook post last week.

A Plus also revealed that the hotel, Luxe Suites Hotel, where the outrageous expenses were incurred and paid for with the approval of Mr Kwame Owusu is fully owned by the CEO himself.

But Mr Kwame Owusu has threatened to sue A Plus.

But the musician and political activist has called Mr Owusu’s bluff, daring him to meet him in court.

“I need an award and not a lawsuit. If he has vowed to take me court, he should go ahead because I’m ready to face him squarely.

“Does he know the number of times people have threatened to sue me but never went ahead with it? He should find out. I am being a citizen and not just a spectator. I will continue to expose the rot in the country, irrespective of the government in place,” he said on Okay FM as monitored by Adomonline.com.
