Prostitutes in Cape Coast are angry with the Black Stars for lodging at Anomabo instead of Cape Coast.
According to them, they had predicted increased sales when the management team decided to play the Egypt game in Cape Coast but changing the venue has really affected them.
Some of the angry sex workers who spoke to Asempa Sports said, they have incurred a lot of cost because they bought new clothes and invested heavily on their body to meet the standards of the Black Star players.
“We are very disappointed in the organizers for taking the players to Anomabo to lodge. We always hear about them in Accra and since they have come to Cape Coast, we want to take advantage and enjoy with them.
“I have bought new dresses just to meet them and enjoy with some of them and now I have regretted buying my dresses. They should do something about it else we won’t get enough money. We need money and so they should allow the prostitutes to enjoy with them” they told.
The disillusioned sex workers who spoke on the grounds of anonymity said they would have charged GHC1,000 for a night and satisfy their players well to give off their best against Egypt.
They have therefore called on the Black Stars management team to rescind or be hit with a massive demonstration to mar the match.
“We wont allow anyone to destroy our profession. We are proud of our job and nothing can stop us from doing it” they stressed.

Ghana takes on Egypt in the final World Cup qualifier at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Ghana may already be out of the running for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 but the Black Stars are motivated to end the campaign positive as they host Egypt in the ultimate game at Cape Coast on Sunday.
The Black Stars have missed out on what would have been a fourth successive appearance at the Mundial, having been off the pace in Group E from the onset.
