Black Satellites head coach Maxwell Konadu has unveiled Ghana’s squad for the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship, as the team prepares to battle for regional supremacy in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

The Ghanaian delegation arrived in the Ivorian capital on Friday. It immediately shifted focus to preparations, with the team holding its first training session on Saturday ahead of the tournament’s opening fixtures.

Ghana will begin its Group B campaign with a highly anticipated encounter against Nigeria on Monday, July 27. The Black Satellites will then face Burkina Faso in their second group game before concluding the group stage against Togo.

Konadu’s charges will be aiming to secure qualification to the knockout stage and mount a strong challenge for the WAFU B U-20 Championship title as they continue Ghana’s proud tradition in youth football.

The competition carries added significance as it serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2027 TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which Ghana will host.

The tournament is expected to provide the Black Satellites with valuable competitive experience, allowing the technical team to assess the players, improve team chemistry, and measure their strength against some of the best emerging talents from across West Africa.

With the continental tournament on home soil next year, Ghana will be hoping to use the WAFU B Championship as a crucial stepping stone towards building a formidable U-20 side.

Below is the full list of players selected by Maxwell Konadu, arranged according to their jersey numbers, who will represent Ghana at the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship.
