The Black Stars have relocated from Rhode Island to Philadelphia as preparations intensify ahead of their decisive FIFA World Cup Group L encounter against Croatia on Saturday.

The squad departed on Thursday following a recovery session earlier in the week at Bryant University, where they regrouped a day after a hard-fought 0–0 draw with England at Gillette Stadium.

The result extended Ghana’s unbeaten run in the group and left them level on four points with England at the top of the standings after two matches, keeping qualification firmly in their hands heading into the final round.

Attention now shifts to a high-stakes clash at Lincoln Financial Field, where victory over Croatia would secure a place in the Round of 32 for the first time since 2010.

Coach Carlos Queiroz has overseen a disciplined and organised campaign so far, with his side combining defensive resilience with tactical structure to frustrate two strong opponents in succession.

The team is expected to hold a final training session on Friday to fine-tune preparations before Saturday’s decisive fixture in Philadelphia.

For Ghana, the equation is straightforward: win and advance, with a place in the knockout stage of the expanded tournament within reach as momentum builds at a crucial stage of their campaign.
