The Member of Parliament for Kpandai, Matthew Nyindam, has disbursed a total of GH¢100,000 from his Educational Fund to support 100 students in the constituency with the payment of their school fees.
The initiative forms part of efforts to reduce the financial challenges facing students and their families, while promoting access to education in the district.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony in Kpandai, Mr. Nyindam urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the support and remain focused on their academic goals.
According to him, the fund was established to ensure that no brilliant student is denied education because of financial difficulties.
“I want you to utilize this support well and concentrate on your studies. Education is the key to success, and this assistance is meant to help you achieve your dreams. Make your parents, the constituency, and yourselves proud through hard work and discipline,” he said.
Mr. Nyindam further emphasized that investing in education is one of the most effective ways of developing the constituency and the nation, adding that empowering young people through education would contribute significantly to Ghana’s future growth.
He encouraged the students to take advantage of the opportunity and strive for academic excellence.
The beneficiaries, who received the financial assistance, expressed appreciation to the MP for the gesture, describing the support as timely and impactful.
Some of the students noted that the assistance would help them settle their school fees and continue their education without interruption.
They commended Mr. Nyindam for his commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of young people in the Kpandai Constituency.
