John Dumelo announces free World Cup viewing centres with meals for Ayawaso West residents

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at bringing football fans together as the World Cup kicks off.

In a post shared on social media, the MP revealed that he has paid for DStv subscriptions at television viewing centres across the constituency to enable residents to watch the tournament.

He also announced the installation of free giant screens at several locations, including Abelemkpe Astro Turf Park, Okponglo, Mempasem, Airport Residential Area, West Legon and Dzorwulu for residents to watch Ghana’s matches.

According to him, the initiative is intended to create an enjoyable viewing experience for football lovers while rallying support behind the Black Stars throughout the competition.

Beyond the viewing centres, Mr Dumelo disclosed that he has partnered with 13 kenkey sellers within the constituency to provide free meals of kenkey and fish to residents who attend the Ghana matches.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon MP ended his message with a rallying call for national support, urging Ghanaians to get behind the Black Stars as they begin their World Cup campaign.
