The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Suaman in the Western North region Vasco Obour, has donated air conditioners and assorted soft drinks to Muslim communities in the district as part of the 2026 Eid-al-Adha celebrations.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Obour extended warm Eid greetings to the Muslim faithful and commended them for their contribution to peace and development in the district.
He also urged the community to continue praying for unity, progress, and national development.
He added that the donation is meant to reduce the heat at the various mosque during Jumah on Fridays.
