Founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has reaffirmed his position on LGBTQ issues, stating that his views remain unchanged.
Speaking on UTV Ghana, he rejected claims that his stance was influenced by political leadership, particularly under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I wasn’t condemning LGBTQ because of Nana Addo; that’s very unfair,” he stated.
According to him, it is unfair to suggest that his position was shaped by any individual or government, adding that he has forgiven those who promote such narratives and prays that people will realise they are politicising what should not be politicised.
Rev. Tetteh stressed that LGBTQ matters should not be politicised, describing it as an issue that goes beyond partisan considerations.
He maintained that his views are rooted in his personal beliefs and convictions rather than political alignment, saying that he believes in nature.
He also expressed confidence in President John Dramani Mahama, stating that he believes the president will sign the bill when it is presented to him.
“I know His Excellency John Dramani Mahama will sign the bill when it gets to him,” he said.
