Two siblings who were tragically stabbed to death at Sefwi Boako-Akrofu in the Western North Region have been laid to rest at Sefwi Boako.

The deceased, identified as Clinton Ackah, 27, and Richmond Ackah, 20, were reportedly attacked and stabbed by a young man believed to be from Sankore.

According to reports, the suspect allegedly mistook the two brothers for individuals involved in transporting his girlfriend to a wake-keeping at Akrofu, a misunderstanding that led to the deadly attack.

The victims were later rushed to the Sefwi Boako Clinic but were pronounced dead on arrival.

Their grieving mother, Nana Saah, recounted the painful moment she received news of the attack, saying she was first informed that her elder son had been stabbed, only to receive a second call minutes later reporting that her younger son had also been attacked.

Meanwhile, the Abuasuapanin of the Asankra family in Boako, Nana Kwame Peprah II, has called on government and security agencies to ensure the suspect is arrested and prosecuted swiftly.
