A commercial sex worker operating in Sekondi of the Western region has allegedly been assaulted by a man she says hired her services but later turned on her.
The victim, a Nigerian national who gave her name as Nancy, told Takoradi-based Connect FM that the incident happened on Friday night, December 26.
Narrating her ordeal, Nancy said the man approached her and they agreed on a fee of GH¢50 for a short time before heading to his residence.
Nancy said trouble began when she realised the man was trying to extend the encounter beyond what had been agreed but told him she was tired and could not continue, a response she said angered him.

She alleged that the man then demanded a refund of the GH¢50, which she refused, insisting she had already delivered the agreed service.
The situation reportedly escalated further when the man demanded her mobile phone. When she declined, he allegedly attacked her.
Nancy said she has since reported the case to the Sekondi Police. She has been issued a medical form to seek treatment at a health facility, while police investigations into the incident continue.
