IET-Ghana President lauds engineers’ role in national development in Christmas message

The President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Ghana (IET–Ghana), Engr. Wonder S. Davor, has extended Christmas goodwill messages to engineering practitioners across the country, urging renewed commitment to professionalism, ethics, and national service.

In a Christmas message to members, Engr. Davor, who has assumed office as President of IET–Ghana, praised the contributions of engineers to Ghana’s development.

He cited their roles in critical national projects including the revival of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), the reconstruction of major highways such as the Tema Motorway, and the sustained provision of water and electricity nationwide.

He commended the leadership of the Immediate Past President, Engr. Henry Kwadwo Boateng, and expressed gratitude to members for their dedication to professional excellence and public service.

Engr. Davor encouraged engineers to use the festive season as a time for reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the highest ethical standards, stressing the importance of positioning IET–Ghana as a strong and credible voice for the engineering profession.

He wished members and their families a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year, expressing optimism that collective effort and professionalism will continue to advance Ghana’s development agenda.
