Family of late Apostle Kwadwo Safo pays courtesy call on Speaker of Parliament

The family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Church, has paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, to formally inform him of his passing.

Apostle Safo passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the age of 77. The family also used the visit to brief the Speaker on arrangements for his 40-day memorial observance.

Welcoming the delegation at Parliament House, Mr. Bagbin expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family and the entire Kristo Asafo fraternity.

He lauded the late Apostle for his extraordinary contributions to Ghana’s spiritual growth, industrial innovation, and scientific development.

The Speaker urged the family to remain united and continue to uphold Apostle Safo’s legacy of peace, creativity, and visionary leadership, which continues to inspire many across the country.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo, popularly known as the “Star of Africa,” was a renowned preacher, inventor, scientist, agriculturalist, industrialist, and philanthropist.

He founded the Kristo Asafo Mission, the Great KOSA network of companies and served as Chairman of the Kantanka Group of Companies, including Kantanka Automobile, a Ghana-based automotive company known for producing vehicles such as the Kantanka Omama SUV and Onantefo pickup, tailored for African markets.
